I have Trados Studio 2024 and it has been working fine except for when I receive a package that has a termbase attached. If there is a term from the TB in a segment, Studio closes down immediately if I confirm the segment. The workaround has been to deactivate the TB, and then it works as normal. I would of course like to be able to use the termbase received in the package and not have to deactivate it. Any ideas as to how to fix this?
Maybe a matter of reorganising the termbase in MultiTerm?
If it still doesn’t work, I’d enable back the TB and disable the terminology check in your Project Settings:
This way, Trados Studio won’t be checking every segment after confirming it. When you are done with all the segments, enable the terminology check and then run F8 to verify the translations (including the terminology verification).

Yes. And if you reorg works, let the agency know that, so they can reorg the main termbase.
I tried to reorganise the termbase, but it is still closing down when confirming a segment that has an entry in the Termbase.

Yes, I understand, but my screen looks different. Not sure whether that is because of how it is configured from the agency. I never could find the same screen on my project.

Your Studio looks the same, but you need to click two levels higher under "Verification" (not under "Verification Settings"!). Have a close look at Jesus' screenshot.
