Trados closes when confirming segment

Question

I have Trados Studio 2024 and it has been working fine except for when I receive a package that has a termbase attached. If there is a term from the TB in a segment, Studio closes down immediately if I confirm the segment. The workaround has been to deactivate the TB, and then it works as normal. I would of course like to be able to use the termbase received in the package and not have to deactivate it. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

 Maybe a matter of reorganising the termbase in MultiTerm? 
 If it still doesn&rsquo;t work, I&rsquo;d enable back the TB and disable the terminology check in your Project Settings: 
 This way, Trados Studio won&rsquo;t be checking every segment after confirming it. When you are done with all the segments, enable the terminology check and then run F8 to verify the translations (including the terminology verification).
