Cannot export target files from Trados 2024 - but no error message

I have a problem exporting files from a specific client from Trados 2024

When I try to export my target files, every thing works as it should (no error message or anything). But when I go to the folder where the files are supposed to be sent to, there's no trace of the files. I tried looking in the elsewhere, but to no avail. And this only happens with the files of one specific client. Files are sent to me in 7zip format protected by a password that go through dropbox, could that be the source of the problem ? And, most of all, how can I fix this ?

Right now, my only solution, was to copy-past every single segment into the Word file (so that works for a short text, not for a document of several pages)

Please help !

Thanks in advance

"Question improvement suggestion": Please provide more details such as the exact version of Trados Studio you are using, the operating system of your computer, and any recent changes you made to your system or software. Also, it would be helpful if you could share the steps you have already taken to troubleshoot this issue.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems like you're having trouble exporting target files from Trados Studio. This could be due to a number of reasons. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

Step 1: Check the export location. Make sure you're looking in the correct folder for the exported files. You can verify this by going to "File" > "Export" > "Export Files..." in Trados Studio and checking the export path.

Step 2: Check the file format. Ensure that the file format of the exported files is compatible with the software you're using to open them. If the files are being exported in a format that your software can't read, they won't appear.

Step 3: Check the project settings. It's possible that there's a setting in your project that's preventing the files from being exported correctly. Go to "Project Settings" and ensure that all settings are correct.

Step 4: Check for software updates. Make sure your version of Trados Studio is up-to-date. You can do this by going to "Help" > "Check for Updates".

Step 5: Try exporting the files again. If none of the above steps work, try exporting the files again. If the problem persists, it might be a good idea to contact the client and ask if they've had similar issues with other translators.
