Trados Studio 2024 Freelance

I oppened a project on Trados Studio 2024 Freelance.

I finalized 2 phases of the project and finalized them.

The PDF file contains formatting errors.

I want to reset the translation tasks to the original state so that I can edit them, but the button is disabled.

How to proceed?

Because you finalised the project it's been shut down after generating the target files and updating your TM.  To fix it open the project, select the PDF file in the Files View then right-click it and select "Revert to SDLXLIFF".  Now you can open it again.

Note that you don't have to use Finalise.  It can be useful if you have a workflow that uses this feature to help manage your work but for many users it may be better to simply never do that.  If you work with single files, even in a Studio project it might be easier just to use File -> Save Target As which just creates your target file without shutting anything down.  If you use your TM as you work and you are the only one using Studio then there should be no need to update the TM at the end either as everything you do is already in it.
