Trados Studio 2022 - Issues with Windows Update 24H2

Hello,

I noticed that several users posted here with the same issue I'm having: Windows 11 updated to 24H2 on my computer without giving me a choice, and I'm now having issues with the termbases in Studio; they just don't load and the message "Recherche de termes en cours" is displayed without anything happening.

This is obviously very problematic, do you have any idea of how I could fix this?

Thank you very much in advance,

Sabine

There must be something different in behind. I have two machines with 24H2 and all is running with no problem.

I would suggest downloading the latest installer for both MultiTerm and Trados Studio. Then removing all settings in the path C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio and C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\MultiTerm by renaming the folder found there inside. After that right click on the Trados Studio installer and let it run as administrator. When finished, do the same with MultiTerm installer. This should repair your installations. You can also try to reorganize your termbases. But I don't think there is a general problem with 24H2. Trados Studio was tested on Windows 24H2.
