can dragon naturally speaking 13 be used with trados 2024?

I recently got a new notebook (Win 11) and am working on it with Trados Studio 2024. I would like to use Dragon Naturally Speaking V13 with it, however, I cannot seem to be dictating directly into a segment.

Does anyone know a work around for that issue?

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

Trados Studio 2024 should be compatible with Dragon Naturally Speaking V13. However, there might be some settings that need to be adjusted for them to work together properly. Here are some steps you can try:

Step 1: Ensure that both Trados Studio 2024 and Dragon Naturally Speaking V13 are updated to the latest versions.

Step 2: Check the settings in Dragon Naturally Speaking to ensure it's set to work with other software. You can usually find this in the options or preferences menu.

Step 3: Try running both programs as an administrator. This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.

Step 4: If you're still having trouble, it might be worth reinstalling both programs. Sometimes, installing Trados Studio before Dragon Naturally Speaking can help them work together better.

Remember to back up any important data before making these changes. If these steps don't resolve your issue, it would be helpful to know more about the specific problems you're experiencing.
