File > Settings > Users makes Trados Studio 2022 freeze

I have Trados Studio 2022 SR2 latest build. When trying to create a project package for the first time, it asked me to add a user, I added it without adding an email address (I only added a name), and then Trados started to crash and it didn't let me select any user. Now:

When I go to Create project package and try to select a user, Trados freezes.

When I go to File > Settings > Users, Trados freezes.

I repaired the Trados installation but that didn't work.

I can't use the "Create project package" feature right now.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Noemí

I tried to reproduce this using Trados Studio 2022 and cannot. I can add users with a name only and nothing else and then add as many users, or create project packages as I like.  So I don't think this is a general problem.  I suggest you start with a complete reset.

To do this just close Trados Studio and then rename this folder:

    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17\

    to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17_old\

If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:

    www.howtogeek.com/.../

Then restart Trados Studio and see if that helped.
