We are tryting to include Deepl as a TM in a multilingual project and this error appears "Ya se agregó un elemento con la misma clave".

As we have already read in previous posts, the problem is based on the plugins. Could you help us on this issue, please?

"Question improvement suggestion": Please provide the exact version of Trados Studio you are using, and any recent changes to the system or software. Also, it would be helpful to know if you have already tried the steps mentioned in the context and what the results were.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

Based on your description, it seems like you're encountering an issue with duplicate plugins in Trados Studio, specifically when trying to include Deepl as a Translation Memory (TM) in a multilingual project. The error message "Ya se agregó un elemento con la misma clave" suggests that an item with the same key has already been added, which is typically due to duplicate plugins.

Here are the steps you can follow to resolve this issue:

    Step 1: Close Trados Studio.

Step 2: In Windows Search, type "SDL Plugin Management" and open it.

Step 3: Check if you have duplicate plugins installed. If you do, proceed to the next step. If not, the issue might be different and further investigation will be needed.

Step 4: Uninstall one of the instances of the duplicate plugin.

Step 5: Open Trados Studio and check if the error persists. If it does, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the Deepl plugin.

If the error still persists after following these steps, it would be helpful to know the exact version of Trados Studio you are using, and any recent changes to the system or software. This will help in further diagnosing the issue.

I hope this answer addressed your question. If not, please reject the answer, add the question improvement suggestion information, and click the RWS Community AI checkbox on the right to try again.

The easiest and most secure way will be to close Studio, then delete this folder completely: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\18

This applies to Trados Studio 2024. If you have other version, the number at the end will be different, i.e. 17 for 2022 and so on.

After doing that, start TS, go to Add-ins and install all necessary plugins again.
