Error message in Review mode

Whenever I try to open a file for review, I get the error message  "Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created".

I've seen the discussions about this problem, but the solutions provided there don't work for me.

I'll be very grateful to anyone who has a solution.
