I translate between Urdu and English. How do I know if Trados will help me. I need a link to a video detailing an example translation step by step. I have never used Trados or any machine translation. Please advise or share a useful link.

Trados is a CAT tool and it is not primarily thought for automated translation.
A CAT tool is a computer assisted translation tool. It will not translate automatically – like Google translate for example, but instead will record in the translation memory (TM) all the segments /phrases and their corresponding translation so next time a 70% similar segment appears, it will give to the user a translation suggestion.
Basically, a CAT tool provides a range of features to help translators work faster and more efficiently, by making use of more resources: the translation memories, glossaries, termbases, various plugins for machine translation (6 mil characters per year for free) and now even for AI providers (if you have a paid subscription).
