Accidental long press of Ctrl-Enter --> unwanted confirmation of empty segments

In the Studio editor I use the default Ctrl-Return/Enter shortcut to confirm the translated segment, add it to the TM and activate the next unconfirmed segment.

I have realised if I do not let go of Return/Enter fast enough, the Editor cycles through all unconfirmmed segments in record time. While this may be helpful in certain situations, when you want to confirm and add a large number of pre-translated segments, I find that I regularly (about three or four times per hour) accidentally confirm untranslated (target empty) segments. When that happens, my usual MO is to go back to that segment, write something into it to turn the status back to unconfirmed, activate the segment above it, then activate the now unconfirmed segment again to trigger the search for matches in the TM.

The sensitivity with which a "long press" of the Return/Enter key is triggered is just too high. A split-second too late off the Return/Enter key and the workflow is broken. It is getting really cumbersome.

Is there a way to turn off this (for me) annoying long-press feature? I could not find anything in the settings.

Thanks,

Alexander

    Hi  ,

I cannot provide a solution for the underlying issue other than that mentioned by  , but there is a quick way to reset the status of all empty confirmed segments to "Not translated":

I use the Advanced Display Filter to set a filter on empty segments by entering  ^$  in the Target field. Then, enable "Regular Expression" and start the search.

Next, select all filtered segments by clicking the field to the left of the filename at the top of the columns, and change the status back to "Not translated". Then reset the filter.

    Hope that helps.

    Best regards
