Copy source content to target cell

I have upgraded Trados 2021 to Trados 2024. My 2021 was configured copy source content to target cell when opening a target cell (not batch copy). I tried to set this in file>options, but the option is not there. I tried "automatically copy source content to target cells when opening a document," which I assume is a batch process. but it has no effect. Has this option been removed from 2024?

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems like you're having trouble finding the option to automatically copy source content to target cells in Trados Studio 2024. This feature should still be available in the latest version of Trados Studio. Here are the steps to enable it:

Step 1: Open Trados Studio 2024.

Step 2: Go to File > Options.

Step 3: In the Options window, navigate to Editor > Automation.

Step 4: Check the box that says "Automatically copy source when no target exists".

Step 5: Click OK to save your changes.

This should enable the feature to automatically copy source content to target cells when opening a document. If you're still having trouble, it might be a good idea to check for updates within the application or reinstall the software.
