Information Message when using Replace All

Windows 11 / Trados Studio 2024 - 18.0.2.3255 (installed a week ago)

How can I stop receiving an information message telling me how many replacements were made after I use 'Replace All'? I have been using Trados Studio since the 2017 version, and this is the first time this has happened. I have not found any instructions about this, neither in the documentation nor here in the forum. Thanks in advance.

Trados Studio Find and Replace window showing 'e-mail' to be replaced with 'email' and an information message stating 'All done. We made 7 replacements.' with an OK button.

    Hello,

Based on your query, it seems you are receiving an information message after using the 'Replace All' function in Trados Studio 2024 - 18.0.2.3255. This message is typically a feature of the software to confirm the number of replacements made. However, if you find this bothersome, you can try the following steps:

    Step 1: Open Trados Studio.

Step 2: Go to the "Options" menu.

Step 3: In the "Options" window, navigate to the "Editor" section.

Step 4: Under the "Automation" category, you should find an option related to confirmation messages.

Step 5: If there is an option to disable the confirmation message after using 'Replace All', uncheck it.

Step 6: Click "OK" to save your changes and close the "Options" window.

Please note that the exact navigation and option names may vary slightly based on the version and settings of your Trados Studio software.

If the issue persists, you may want to consider the workarounds provided in the context, such as running a repair installation or resetting Trados Studio's basic settings.
