filter definition 'blue matrix' not found

On trying to generate a target language version from a client project package with an xml file as source file I get the below error message. In my older Studio 2022 this type of files can be easily handled, but not it seems in Studio 2024. Any pointers? Thanks!

Trados Studio error message: 'Filter definition Bluematrix not found or could not be used to construct a generator' displayed in the Task Results window for a failed target translation.

Question improvement suggestion: Provide the exact version of Trados Studio you are using and any specific steps you took before encountering the error.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello!

It seems you are encountering an issue with the filter definition 'blue matrix' not being found when trying to generate a target language version from a client project package. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

**Step 1:** Ensure you are opening the WSXZ package correctly. You should not open the SDLXLIFF file directly. Instead, open the WSXZ package exported from World Server, which contains all necessary metadata files, including the filter.

**Step 2:** If you have access to the World Server project, download the source file directly from there. This can help ensure that you have the correct file that corresponds to the project settings.

**Step 3:** Check if the filter definition 'blue matrix' is included in the project settings. If it is missing, you may need to request the correct file type from the person who created the project.

**Step 4:** If you cannot obtain the correct file type, consider creating a dummy file type in the project settings. This will allow you to edit and save the SDLXLIFF file, although some functionalities may not be reliable.

**Step 5:** If the issue persists, you may want to check for any updates or patches for Trados Studio, as there may be fixes available for this specific issue.
