Unable to open any package in Trados Studio 2022 SR2 - 17.2.12.19268. Error message: L'accès au chemin d'accès 'C:\Users\pmb\Documents\Ma musique' est refusé.

This happened after I opened an old project from an external drive. I don’t have a “Ma musique” folder on my PC.

This is the complete error message.

I’ve already tried this, except I don’t have a 12.0.0.0 folder:

Question improvement suggestion: Provide more details about any recent changes to your system or software, and clarify if you have tried running Trados Studio as an administrator.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems you're encountering an "Access Denied" error when trying to open packages in Trados Studio 2022 SR2. This issue can often be related to permissions or conflicts with your system settings. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    **Step 1:** **Check Permissions**

    - Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access the folder mentioned in the error message. Right-click on the folder, select 'Properties', and check the 'Security' tab to verify your permissions.

    **Step 2:** **Run as Administrator**

    - Try running Trados Studio as an administrator. Right-click on the Trados Studio icon and select 'Run as administrator'. This can sometimes resolve permission-related issues.

**Step 3:** **Reset Trados Studio Settings**

    - If the issue persists, consider resetting Trados Studio to its default settings. You can do this by renaming the folder located at:

     `C:\Users\%USERNAME%\App Data\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17` to `Studio17_old`.

    - Make sure to back up any important data before doing this.

**Step 4:** **Check for Antivirus Interference**

    - Temporarily disable your antivirus software to see if it is blocking Trados Studio from accessing the necessary files. If this resolves the issue, you may need to add exceptions for Trados Studio in your antivirus settings.

    **Step 5:** **Move Project Files**

    - If the project is located on an external drive, try moving it to your local drive and then attempt to open it again.

    **Step 6:** **Check OneDrive Settings**

    - If you are using OneDrive, ensure that it is not causing any sync conflicts. You may want to check your OneDrive settings or temporarily disable it to see if that resolves the issue.

If you have tried these steps and the problem persists, please provide any additional details about recent changes to your system or software, as this can help in diagnosing the issue further.
