When using Track Changes, Trados Studio 2024 deletes the correct sentence and inserts it again with TC

When using Track Changes, after pushing Ctrl+Enter at a segment which needs no modification Trados Studio 2024 deletes the sentence and inserts it again with TC, so that I have to go back and reject the modification. It is not a general problem, it happens only at some segments (and doesn't happen at other segments with the same content). Any idea what I could do to resolve this issue? Thank you.

Question improvement suggestion: Provide specific examples of the segments where the issue occurs, including any error messages or unusual behavior observed.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Step 1: Check for Updates

Ensure that you are using the latest version of Trados Studio 2024. Sometimes, issues are resolved in newer updates, so check for any available updates within the application.

Step 2: Review Track Changes Settings

Go to the Track Changes settings in Trados Studio and verify if there are any specific configurations that might be affecting how changes are tracked. Adjusting these settings may help resolve the issue.

Step 3: Test with Different Segments

Since the problem occurs only with certain segments, try to identify any patterns. For example, check if the segments that cause issues have specific formatting or content that differs from those that do not.

    Step 4: Clear Cache

Sometimes, clearing the cache can resolve unexpected behavior. You can do this by going to the options menu and finding the cache settings.

Step 5: Recreate the Problematic Segments

If possible, try recreating the segments that are causing the issue in a new project or document to see if the problem persists. This can help determine if the issue is project-specific.

If the problem continues after trying these steps, consider documenting the specific segments and behaviors and checking for any known issues in the RWS AppStore or community forums.
