My computer crashed and after restarting it I was logged out of Trados Studio 2019. I tried to Sign in but keep getting error messages, the first of which is "Connection to Language Cloud Failed". Can anyone help?

    Hello,

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with logging into Trados Studio 2019 after your computer crash. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the "Connection to Language Cloud Failed" error:

**Step 1:** Close Trados Studio completely.

**Step 2:** Check for any pending Windows Updates and install them. Restart your computer afterward.

**Step 3:** Ensure that Internet Explorer is updated, as it can affect the connection to Language Cloud.

**Step 4:** Review your security settings, including antivirus software and any browser add-ons that might block access to the Language Cloud.

**Step 5:** Navigate to the following path on your computer:

    `C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\`

Rename the folder `Language Cloud Machine Translation.bin` to `Language Cloud Machine Translation.bin_OLD`.

**Step 6:** Restart Trados Studio and attempt to log in again.

**Step 7:** If the issue persists, consider running the TLS 1.2 registry fix as mentioned in the context you provided.

**Step 8:** If you are still unable to log in, try accessing the Language Cloud through a web browser using the correct URL: [https://languagecloud.sdl.com/](languagecloud.sdl.com/).

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please provide the exact error messages you are receiving, including any error codes, and let me know your operating system version for further assistance.
