Date format in Swedish, and lack of Swedish (Finland) in Trados

Question

I just wanted to note that it is acceptable in Swedish to use periods/dots for dates (like today's date, 21.07.2025). Trados automatically changes to commas, even though I want it to be in the dot/period format. Could someone configure Trados to also accept the aforementioned date format? 
 
 There is also no option for Swedish (Finland) when translating in Trados. Finland has been constitutionally bilingual for over 100 years. Why is this fact not reflected in the Trados software?

 I wonder what makes you state this? What version of the software are you using and where did you look? 
 You can add any format you like (pretty much) and change it's position in the list so the one you want is prioritised: 
 
 And for Swedish (Finland) you'd just select it: 
 
 Perhaps your view is being guided by the type of file you have been provided for translation? Is it a bilingual file where the languages are already preset maybe?
