Question improvement suggestion: Provide the exact version of Trados Studio you are using and specify any recent changes to your system or software that may have contributed to the issue.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello Camelia,

It seems you are encountering two distinct issues related to file access and object references in Excel and Word while using Trados Studio. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve these issues:

    **Step 1:** **Run as Administrator**

Make sure to run Trados Studio as an administrator. Right-click on the Trados Studio icon and select "Run as administrator." This can help with permission-related issues.

    **Step 2:** **Check OneDrive Settings**

Since you mentioned OneDrive, ensure that the folder where your Trados Studio files are saved is excluded from OneDrive syncing. You can pause syncing temporarily to see if that resolves the access issue.

    **Step 3:** **Disable Auto Save**

Go to File > Options > Editor in Trados Studio and uncheck the "Enable Auto Save" option. This can help prevent conflicts when saving files.

    **Step 4:** **Clear Temporary Files**

Empty the %Temp% folder located at C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp. Sometimes, leftover temporary files can cause issues.

    **Step 5:** **Check File Permissions**

Ensure that you have the necessary permissions for the files and folders you are trying to access. You may need to adjust the permissions or take ownership of the folder.

    **Step 6:** **Review Worksheet Names**

If you are working with Excel files, ensure that the worksheet names are unique and do not contain any unsupported characters. This can help avoid the "object reference" error.

    **Step 7:** **Check for Updates**

Make sure that you are using the latest version of Trados Studio. Check for updates within the application to ensure you have the latest fixes and features.

If the issues persist, please provide the exact version of Trados Studio you are using and any recent changes to your system or software for further assistance.
