During translation, I suddenly received the following message: Systemoutoff/Memory/Exception has been resolved. I am on line 401 and everything was OK until now. What do I need to do to avoid losing the translation?
Have you confirmed all segments? If so, you can try to save and exit Studio. Before you do so, close all other programs. This can help avoiding the out of memory exception error. If the error appears again and your segments are in the TM, you can safely close Studio without saving. Restart your PC, restart Studio and restore the translated segments from the TM.
If the segments are not confirmed yet, go back and confirm the segments one by one to make sure, that they will be stored in the TM. Then close Studio and proceed as described before.

Yes, I confirmed my translations and they were saved, thank you. I updated to the recommended Studio 2022 version and reopened my project. Everything seems to be working again. However, I received the following message: An attempt was made to read or write to protected memory. This is often a sign that other memory is corrupted.
Please try to reset your Studio to default settings: gateway.rws.com/csm
