Problems with sdlxliff

Question

Hi everyone, 
 I have an issue with SDLXLIFF files after translation. Trados doesn&rsquo;t open them directly &ndash; instead, it sends me back to the Projects list. When I open the file from there, it looks like it hasn&rsquo;t been translated at all. 
 If the SDLXLIFF comes from a project I didn&rsquo;t create myself, Trados won&rsquo;t open it at all (and it doesn&rsquo;t display any error or warning). I reinstalled Trados, reset the settings, still no change. IT even downgraded it to a lower version&mdash;same thing. 
 Has anyone experienced this? What could be the reason?

Dagny Stochla 
 Maybe you are finalising the project which in effect closes it. Right-click and choose Revert to SDLXLIFF. Then try and open it.
