Several problems after installing new Trados Studio 2024 SR1 - 18.1.2.6370, interface not resized

Hello RWS,

I just updated to the new version of Trados Studio, and I have had many problems, as it sadly seems to be a usual thing lately.

I am on Windows 11 - none of the solutions that have already been discussed re: the similar issue work for me. Is there anyone who can help me, please? There's just a problem with Studio. Multiterm works just fine.

Thank you.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello Mariusz,

It sounds like you're experiencing some frustrating issues after updating to Trados Studio 2024 SR1. Here are some steps you can take to potentially resolve the interface resizing problem:

**Step 1: Run a Repair Installation**

    1. Close all RWS applications.

    2. Open the Control Panel:

      - For Windows 10: Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features.

    3. Find Trados Studio 2024 in the list, right-click it, and select "Uninstall/Change" > "Repair."

    4. Restart Trados Studio after the repair is complete.

**Step 2: Reset Trados Studio Basic Settings**

    1. Close all RWS applications.

    2. Navigate to the following folder:

      `C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\`

    3. Rename the folder corresponding to your version (e.g., Studio18) to something like "Studio18_old."

    4. Restart Trados Studio.

**Step 3: Check for Windows Updates**

    1. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

    2. Check for updates and install any that are available. Restart your computer if necessary.

    **Step 4: Adjust Display Settings**

    1. Right-click on the Trados Studio icon and select "Properties."

    2. Go to the Compatibility tab.

    3. Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings."

    4. Click OK and restart Trados Studio.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please provide more details about the specific problems you're encountering, and I would be happy to assist further!

Sadly, "none of the solutions" worked is no information. Did you really delete all the folders discussed elsewhere?
