I cannot open a document in Editor (not online) in Trados Studio 2024.

I have created the Project, it is selected in the list of Projects. I double click on it, then go to Editor and the Editor is blank. It was possible to open it in the past, but maybe after an update something happened and the Editor does not show me the document, I cannot write my translation anywhere. The Editor view is selected but the document is nowhere to be seen, there is no space for me to write in the target language, I cannot see the source language.

Question improvement suggestion: Provide details about any error messages received, the specific version of Trados Studio 2024 you are using, and any recent updates or changes made to your system.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with the Editor in Trados Studio 2024. Let's try to troubleshoot this step by step:

**Step 1:** Ensure that you are working on the correct project. In the Projects view, make sure the active project is selected (it should be marked in bold).

**Step 2:** Check if the Editor is closed. If it is open, close it and then try to reopen the project.

**Step 3:** Clear the cache in your browser and log in again to Trados Live (languagecloud.sdl.com). Sometimes, browser cache issues can affect the functionality.

**Step 4:** If you have recently updated Trados Studio, there might be a layout issue. Try manually adjusting the top margins of the TM results display and the Editor window, as this can sometimes hide the results from view.

**Step 5:** If the issue persists, consider resetting Trados Studio's basic settings. You can do this by renaming the Trados Studio folder in your App Data to something like Trados Studio_old, which will reset your settings.

**Step 6:** If none of the above steps work, you might want to check if there are any user permissions issues or if the number of Online Editor licenses is affecting your access.

If you continue to have trouble, please provide any error messages you see, the exact version of Trados Studio 2024 you are using, and any recent changes made to your system. This information will help in diagnosing the issue further.
