Hello SDL Support,
I am working on a project in Trados Studio that includes about 1,600 files. As part of my workflow, I exported the No Match files from the project.
After this operation, I noticed that:
-
The available space on my C: drive decreased by approximately 10 GB.
-
My PC has become noticeably slower, especially during startup.
My questions are:
-
What exactly happens in the background when Trados Studio processes and exports project files?
-
Does Trados generate large temporary files or cache data during this step?
-
-
Where are these temporary files stored, and how can I safely delete them to recover disk space without damaging my projects?
-
Is there a recommended method (within Trados or Windows) for cleaning up these files after completing a large project?
I would appreciate your guidance on how to manage these temporary files and prevent performance issues.
Thank you for your support.
