Termlist

Hello all SDL members,

I have a term list in Studio that I do a verification against to check a file.

The term list includes different translations for the same word so when I do the verification against the term list I get a huge result.

Even if the verification found one translation it says that it is missing the other translation for the same word.

Is there any adjustment in Trados Studio 2014 that could filter these results you get when you do the term list check?

Thank you in advance

  • Hi Daniel,

In the absence of another response perhaps you could try adding some field values to your terms so you have a mechanism for not using some during the check? So maybe find a way to use the forbidden field feature to cut out any terms that are not relevant in this scenario?

In any event the verifier should not be reporting just because you still have other synonyms that were not used, so I have reproduced and reported this one.

But perhaps in the meantime someone else will have some good ideas for controlling the size of your list.

    Regards
