Question improvement suggestion: Please specify the exact version of Trados Studio you are using, as well as your operating system version, to help narrow down potential issues.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

I understand how frustrating it can be when Trados Studio shuts down unexpectedly, especially when you're facing deadlines. Since you've already tried several troubleshooting steps, let's go through a few additional suggestions that might help resolve the issue:

**Step 1:** Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully updated. Sometimes, pending updates can cause software issues. You can check for updates by typing "Check for updates" in the Windows search bar.

**Step 2:** Since you've already attempted to repair your Trados Studio installation, I recommend checking if you have the .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later installed, as this is crucial for Trados Studio to function properly. You can verify this in the Control Panel under "Programs and Features."

**Step 3:** If the issue persists, try resetting the Trados Studio settings. Close all RWS applications and navigate to the following folder:

    `C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\`

Rename the folder named `Studio17` (or the corresponding version number) to `Studio17_old` and restart Trados Studio.

**Step 4:** Check for any conflicting plugins. Navigate to the Plugins folder in the same directory and rename it to `Plugins_old` to disable all plugins temporarily. Restart Trados Studio to see if it resolves the issue.

**Step 5:** Lastly, consider checking your antivirus settings. Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with applications. Adding the Trados Studio installation folder as an exception may help.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please consider reinstalling Trados Studio as a last resort. I hope these suggestions help you get back on track! If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to ask.

I hope this answer addressed your question. If not, please reject the answer, add the question improvement suggestion information, and click the RWS Community AI checkbox on the right to try again.
