    Hello Caroline,

It sounds like you're experiencing frustrating crashes with Trados Studio 2024 SR1. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

**Step 1:** Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully updated. You can do this by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and checking for updates.

**Step 2:** Repair your Trados Studio installation. To do this, go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, find Trados Studio in the list, and select the 'Repair' option.

**Step 3:** Verify that you have the .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later installed, as this is required for Trados Studio 2024. If necessary, refresh your .NET Framework installation by toggling the .NET feature off and on in Windows Features.

**Step 4:** If the crashes occur at specific segments, check for corrupted Translation Memories (TMs) or termbases. You can do this by disabling them one by one in Project Settings > Language Pairs > Translation Memory or Termbases to see if the issue persists.

**Step 5:** If your translation resources are stored on a shared drive or cloud service, try moving them to your local machine and see if that resolves the crashing issue.

**Step 6:** If the problem continues, consider resetting Trados Studio to its default settings. This can often resolve issues related to configuration.

If none of these steps help, please provide any error messages you may have received during the crashes, as this information can be crucial for further troubleshooting.
