"Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created"

I can't use my recently purchased update (one month) to Trados 2024. When I try to work on a segment I get the error message "Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created" and the program shuts down. I expect Trados 2024 to work as it has until now.

What I tried:

- uninstalling/reinstalling several times - didn't work

- pressed repair button - didn't work

I'm lucky that my Trados 2021 still works but what shall I do about 2024?

Please, help
