Bug: Term insertion after splitting segments. (Studio 2014 SP2 11.2.4422.11)

Not sure where to report bugs, but this is one that's easily reproducible:

- split a segment

- hit ctrl-shift-L to bring up termbase hit list (provided there's an actual hit in the source and you have a termbase configured)

- get the following error:

Multiterm version is 2014 SP2 - 11.2.1379.0

Workaround solution is to move the cursor to a different segment after splitting before going back and hitting ctrl-shift-L.

Not really related to the above, but with segments over a certain length, termbase hits stop showing up after a while. Might also be worth looking into.

I can't reproduce this in 2014 or 2015, so I guess the problem is more local to your setup and would need further investigation.  When I follow you steps I just get the suggestions I expected.

This has been resolved in MultiTerm 2015 as part of a significant number of MultiTerm improvements for that release.

  • Hi Frode, hi Paul

I managed to reproduce the error with term recognition after a segment split. It happens if you hit CTRL-SHIFT-L immediately after the split while the cursor is a the end of the target segment. However, it does not happen all the times, but quite often. I have not been able (yet) to find a pattern. Placing the cursor somewhere else in the segment and redoing the CTRL-SHIFT-L will work fine.

    I tested this with Studio 2015 SR1 (4196.2).
