Error al generar traducciones de destino

Buenas tardes:

Utilizo Trados Studio Freelance 2021 SR2 - 16.2.12.9338

¡Necesito ayuda!

¡Gracias!

Question improvement suggestion: Provide the exact error message and any relevant screenshots or logs to help diagnose the issue more effectively.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems you are encountering an issue when trying to generate the target translation in Trados Studio Freelance 2021 SR2. The error message "Se ha movido la ilustración entre párrafos" suggests that there may be a problem with the tags or illustrations in your document. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    **Step 1:** Verify Tags

Double-check all the tags in your document to ensure they are correctly placed and formatted. Sometimes, misplaced or missing tags can cause errors during the export process.

    **Step 2:** Check for Illustrations

Since the error mentions an illustration, ensure that there are no illustrations or objects that might be causing the issue. If you find any, try removing or adjusting them.

    **Step 3:** Run Tag Verification

Go to File > Options > Verification and ensure that Tag verification is enabled. This will help identify any tag-related issues in your project.

**Step 4:** Clean Up Project Files

Navigate to Project > Batch Tasks > Clean Up to remove any temporary files that might be causing the issue. This can often resolve export problems.

    **Step 5:** Save Target As

Try saving the target file again by going to File > Save Target As and selecting a different location. This can sometimes bypass issues with the original save location.

    **Step 6:** Update Trados Studio

If the problem persists, consider updating to the latest version of Trados Studio, as newer versions often include bug fixes and improvements.

If you continue to experience difficulties, please provide any additional details, such as specific error messages or screenshots, which can help in diagnosing the issue further.

I hope this answer addressed your question. If not, please reject the answer, add the question improvement suggestion information, and click the RWS Community AI checkbox on the right to try again.

From what I understand you have merged segments over paragraph marks. Most probably your source document was a PDF, you converted it automatically in Studio and had sentences broken over several segments, which you then merged. However, at least one of these segments did contain an illustration tag. This causes a damage to the internal file structure. There is NO (literally NO) chance to restore this in the already translated file. What you need to do is retranslate the source file using the TM from the current translation. If the source was PDF, you'll find the converted file either in the same folder where the PDF was (in case you used the single file approach) or in the source language folder of your project. You can use this converted Word file for the retranslation. Do not merge any segments containing tags! This is the only way to avoid such problems.

Another option is to edit the translated file in Notepad++ and try to restore the previous file structure. This might work, but needs someone with in-depth knowledge of the structure of SDLXLIFF file.
