I have a lot of files to be verified. Therefore the storing of the files takes much time. When I look now for segments marked as not translated and alter their status into "translated" will then this/these segments stored correctly after storing the whole bunch of fies

I think it would be helpful if you could explain this with a bit more detail. What do you mean storing them takes a long time? Are they sdlxliff files handled elsewhere that you need to change the status to translated? What do you mean stored correctly?
It's probably me but I don't understand this question at all? If you could explain exactly what you're doing it would probably help.
Also what version of the software are you using?

Dear Michael,
Why don't you run a verification batch task against the entire project in one go? Then you'll have a report you can use to help you work through them without having to verify each one.
Despite this, even doing it the way you are and it taking this long suggests you have a problem you need to address. Slow performance like this can be caused by a number of things, perhaps it's worth you taking a look at this article and the article referenced from it.
