I am using SLD Studio 2014 SP2 11.24422.11 (Freelance) and I am trying to open an IDML file exported from InDesign CC 2014 (Mac). My system is Windows 7 Ultimate/English.

After activating the "Process unsupported file versions" option available at File > Options > File Types > Adobe InDesign CS4-CC IDML > Common, I tried to open the file again.

This time I got an error message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." and the file did not open.

I sent the same file to a colleague with SDL Studio 2015 (Freelance) only to produce the same error.

Can you help with that?
