Key already exists, key: General.StartSettingsPageCategory

I'm currently unable to change settings in Trados Studio 2022 (desktop): I click File, then Options, and then get the above message. Any ideas? I'm wanting to change the format and colour of some text, and change the Concordance Search settings.

Question improvement suggestion: Provide the exact version of Trados Studio 2022 you are using and any recent changes made to your system or software.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems you're encountering an issue with a key conflict in Trados Studio 2022 when trying to access the Options menu. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

**Step 1:** Close Trados Studio completely.

**Step 2:** Navigate to the following directory on your computer:

    `C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17`

**Step 3:** Look for the file named `UserSettings.xml` and rename it to `UserSettings_old.xml`. This will reset your user settings.

**Step 4:** If you have any project files, navigate to `C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Studio 2022\Projects` and rename the `projects.xml` file to `old_projects.xml`.

**Step 5:** Restart Trados Studio and check if you can access the Options menu without the error message.

If the issue persists, you may want to consider reinstalling Trados Studio or checking for any updates that might address this issue.
