Studio 2015: Failed to save project template.... / Access to path is denied

When I set up a project or if I want to translate a single document, Studio 2015 displays an error message that it cannot remember or save the path to the project and/or memories (Failed to save project template.... / Access to path is denied). I have reinstalled everything, but to no avail.

  • Hi Rosemary,

Given this happens with the single document approach as well please can you try deleting, or renaming, the default template here:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Studio 2015\Project Templates\Default.sdltpl

Then restart Studio and try again.  This will recreate the default but with all default settings, so if you had TMs and Termbases and other settings like verification for example in there they will be lost.  So if you prefer just rename it for now...  add this to the end of the template name instead of deleting it:

    Default.sdltpl_orig

Then if the problem still occurs you can restore this while we try something else.

    Regards
