    Hello,

It sounds like you're experiencing significant delays with Trados Studio 2019. Here are some steps you can take to potentially improve the performance:

**Step 1:** **Reset Trados Studio Settings**

    - Close Trados Studio.

    - Navigate to `C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0`.

    - Rename the `Base Settings.xml` file to `Base Settings_old.xml`.

    - Restart Trados Studio to create a new settings file.

    **Step 2:** **Check for Updates**

    - Open Trados Studio and go to the Help menu.

    - Click on "Check for Updates" to ensure you are using the latest version, as updates often include performance improvements.

    **Step 3:** **Local Storage**

    - Ensure that your translation memories and project files are stored on a local drive rather than a network drive, as accessing files over a network can slow down performance.

    **Step 4:** **System Maintenance**

    - Check your Windows 10 system for any updates and ensure that there are no background processes consuming resources.

    - Consider performing regular maintenance on your translation memories, such as reorganization and cleanup, to enhance performance.

    **Step 5:** **Reinstall Trados Studio**

    - If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling Trados Studio. Make sure to back up your translation memories and other important data before doing so.

By following these steps, you should see an improvement in the responsiveness of Trados Studio. If the problem continues, please provide additional details about your system specifications and any recent changes that may have affected performance.
