Sign in popup window in Studio 2024 Freelance SR1

Whenever I open a file for translation, a sign in popup window appears, requiring me to sign in to the https://logs02.sdlproducts.com/ server address, using either GroupShare Authentication, Windows Authentication or (Auth) as login provider. But at this point, I am already signed in, as can be seen in the top right corner of the below screenshot. I tried all possible email address-password combinations with every login provider, but nothing works. If I close this window, it reappears in about 20 seconds, causing a lot of distraction and annoyance while I work. I have already spent hours trying to get rid of this popup, but so far I couldn't. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection, so that couldn't be the culprit. This whole issue started after I installed SR1, and then proceeded to delete old versions of Studio from my laptop to free up space, as Windows started complaining about the lack of it.

Question improvement suggestion: Provide more details about any error messages received and include any troubleshooting steps already taken.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with the sign-in popup in Trados Studio 2024 Freelance SR1. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

    **Step 1:** **Check Your Credentials**

    - Ensure that you are using the correct email and password for your RWS ID. If you have multiple accounts, double-check that you are signing in with the one associated with your current installation.

    **Step 2:** **Clear Cached Credentials**

    - Navigate to `C:\Users\%User Name%\App Data\Roaming\Trados\Platform\` and rename the `Identity` folder (e.g., to `OLD_Identity`). This will force Trados Studio to create a new identity on the next launch.

    **Step 3:** **Reconfigure Server Settings**

    - Go to `File > Setup > Servers` in Trados Studio. Remove the existing GroupShare server connection and then re-add it using your GroupShare user credentials.

    **Step 4:** **Check for Updates**

    - Make sure that your Trados Studio is fully updated. Check for any available updates within the application to ensure you have the latest fixes and improvements.

    **Step 5:** **Review Internet Connection**

    - Although you mentioned that your internet connection is fine, it might be worth checking if any firewall or antivirus settings are blocking Trados Studio from connecting to the server.

    **Step 6:** **Reinstall Trados Studio**

    - If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Trados Studio 2024 SR1. This can help resolve any corrupted files that may be causing the issue.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please provide any error messages you may be receiving, as well as any additional troubleshooting steps you've already taken. This information will help in diagnosing the problem further.
