Hello everyone, 

Trados has been giving me grief for a couple of days now. 

It all started when I tried to install the AI Professional plugin.

When installing it only for me on my computer, it simply didn’t work (even though it was visible in the project settings and I could put in my API key and a prompt) and didn’t show up in the Add-Ins tab. I also tried the plugin transAIde, same story, except it didn’t show up in the project settings. As a workaround I tried putting the installer file directly into the plugins-folder tried installing the plugin for everyone on my domain. That produced the same error in both cases and Trados wouldn’t start:

Upon removal of all files related to the plugin from the folder, Trados was able to start again.

During the last try (of installing the plugin), there were no files generated in the “Unpacked” plugin folder. When I removed the installer file from “packages” and tried starting Trados, it once again threw the error above.

I tried removing / renaming the Plugin folder entirely so Trados could generate a new one upon restart, which it did, but the error persisted even with the new folder.

I then tried repairing Trados via the control panel , but that resulted in Trados not starting anymore at all, it never goes beyond this point now before shutting down again by itself:

I'd really appreciate your help as I heavily depend upon Trados in my daily work as a project manager and cannot fulfill my duties at the moment.

In addition to getting Trados to run again, I would love a solution for the AI Professional plugin as well.
