Resaving a file as a target. Error.

Question

When I try to resave as a target a file that has been reviewed using Retrofit, I get this error: "Failed to save target content. Please check ObjectRegistry for." Why?

This is a new error for me. Can you share the original sdlxliff (should have a backup of this in the project folder) and also the reviewed file? If you can please send it to pfilkin@sdl.com

Just checking the obvious... you did rename the backup first before trying to open it? So make sure the extension is sdlxliff and not backup001... or whatever number you are on? 
 
If you did can you try opening the sdlxliff backup file separately from your project, so take a copy and just use the single document approach as if this is a new project using the sdlxliff as source.
