The Finish button does not activate when trying to open an sdlppx file in Trados 2015 and no there is no Project Folder field.
Any ideas why?

Are you sure? When you open a project package (SDLPPX, not a return package), you see this:
What do you see in the field that is highlighted in red in the screenshot above in your case?
The path there must be a valid path on your computer. This is where Studio will store the project, you need to enter this information.

In this case before you reinstall, do a reset according to the instructions in this KB article.
You simply need to close Studio, delete three files and restart Studio.
