How do I change the setting so that all-in-capital words are recognized as a Multiterm term instead of untranslatable variables?

Dear Studio 2015 users, 
 I am working on a project for which I created a termbase from the client's glossary. I have noticed that termbase terms that are made by all capital letters are not recognized by Termbase. For example, AC is a term from this termbase. When AC appears in a segment, AC does not show up in the termbase recognition window. 
 It seems AC is being recognized as a variable (it has a underline). How can I change the project setting so that AC would be recognized as a Multiterm term instead of a variable?

Hi! I am back to report that I solved this issue by enabling the "Enable recognition of two-letter terms" option in Termbase Search Settings under Project Settings. This option is turned off by default.

On your new question, have you tried disabling Acronym recognition on your TM settings?

That's odd... did you select the TMs and then click on their settings? Are they enabled? Are they Project TMs and you're selecting the wrong one in the settings? Maybe try changing the settings in the TM maintenance View instead by selecting the TMs in there? 
 
Sometimes after making a change like this is makes sense to enable a different project and go back, or even restart Studio, as it sometimes holds onto the settings and needs a little refresh for the changes to take effect.
