I'm new to Trados and still going through the process of learning it. It happened on several occasions that formatting tags in the target segment did not correspond to those in the source. I was  having a hard time in moving them to the proper places or just deleting them. The only 'solution' I have found so far that works is to copy source into target and then translate the text within the properly placed tags. I realize that this not the most sophisticated approach and wonder how to make the formatting adjustment process simpler.
