Each comment appears multiple times in the word version of the target.

Question

Good morning. When reviewing a translated file and adding comments, (typically one or 2 max for a segment), they come up multiple times in the final word print of the reviewed file: how can I change that to see my comments just the once? 
 To add a comment, at the moment, I first make the correction, then right click and select add comment.... 
 What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

Hi Paul. Many thanks for your quick reply. 
 Step by step, this is what happens: 
 Image 1 is my translated segments. As you can see I have added a comment to segments 2, 3 and 4. To add a comment, I place my cursor anywhere in the segment and right click 'add comment'. 
 Image 2 is what I do to see the final reviewed text in word (I click on print preview, view in, Microsoft word as target) 
 Image 3 is what I get: comments repeated multiple times, and not in the format that I would like (just red and white, no blue, which is what I have selected). 
 I am really so grateful for your help, this issue is quite aggravating as I have to manually delete all these unwanted comments. Yannick

On the face of it you don't seem to be doing anything wrong. But it sounds odd indeed. Would you be able to share a small file with us and then walk us through the steps you go through that causes this effect so we can try to reproduce it? 
 
If you use rich formatting when you respond you can add a file to the post so we can do exactly what you do.
