Keyboard shortcut [ctrl+enter] does not work when translating in Studio 2015 - I have windows 10 - translating a pdf doc - HELP

I am new to SDLTRADOS 2015. Ever since I installed the keyboard shortcut [ctrl+enter] does not work when I am translating. I have to click on "confirm" and move the cursor to the next segment to move on. I have windows 10 and trying to translate a PDF doc. How do I troubleshoot the [ctrl+enter] function? all the keyboard shortcut functions work and this is also a new laptop. Thanks.

  • Please check, if the shortcut is really assigned to the desired function. Go to File -> Options -> Keyboard shortcut.
    If the shortcut is assigned as it should, please check, if it is not in conflict with another shortcut in Studio. To do so remove the shortcut, confirm, reopen the settings and apply the shortcut again. Studio will now check for conflicts and possibly report.
    If all this does not help, check if you do not have any other software using the shortcut and remove it there.
