How can I edit my glossary; I'd like to view the full list (ie: know how many terms it has).

I thought I used to be able to open just the termbase and manage the terms.

Did you open your termbase in MultiTerm Desktop? It allows you to do all of this. It shows all entries , in nice alphabetical order according to the source language you select and also shows you the number of entries, in total and by language in the "Term Management" view.
