failed to save to target: cannot find central directory (other thread didn't help!)

Question

Hi all ye SDL experts - I have a problem.... 
 
 I did look at the other thread with this title but the translation (simple word doc, no zip or anything involved) I just finished cannot be saved to target and is therefore useless as I cannot email it to the client - 
 
 help, anyone? 
 
 thanks a lot in advance to those who clearly know this system better than me.

Hi Ali, yes thanks, that worked. I'll do that in future. As the system should remember what I did. Just gave the source word doc a different name. thanks!

Hi Sabine If you create a new project using the same source Word document then save to target immediately without doing anything else, does it work? All the best, Ali
