How do I get Studio 2015 to remember the window size the next time I open the application?

Question

This may seem like a trivial question, but it is a daily annoyance and I haven't been able to find the solution myself. For the past year or so (possibly since the last Studio upgrade?) I have had to manually resize the main window every time I launch the application. No matter what I do, it opens in the top left corner of the screen, at about 3/4 of the screen height and 1/2 of the screen width. My main monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and I have a secondary monitor with a resolution of 1280 x 1024. I am running Windows 10 Home on a Core i5-6600 CPU. All suggestions are welcome!

 This problem seems to occur only in specific situations, namely when the GUI language is set to a different one than the version of Windows. 
 For more details on what causes it, have a look at this post . 
 The cause was discovered only a few days ago and SDL promised to fix the problem quickly, most probably shortly after SR2.
