How to change date format below concordance matches window?

Question

Translation unit date field under concordance matches window shows date in non local format which is confusing and distracting. Is there a way to change it to year-month-day (2016-03-02)?

It seems to take the Windows default for the UI language you chose in Studio (for English, this is English US and mm/dd/yyy is correct). 
 
If you chose another UI language, e.g. German, French or Spanish, you will see the date as dd/mm/yyyy. 
 
SDL is aware of this problem and we hope that they will fix it soon.
