Problem adding termbase after installing SR2

After the installation of yesterday's service releases (I installed the SR2 updates to Trados Studio 2015 and MultiTerm), I can no longer add termbases to my Trados projects. I am able to open the termbase I want to use in MultiTerm, so it does not appear to be an issue with the termbase. Can anyone please help, I really need to use termbases in Trados for some of my projects?

Kind regards,
Johanna

  • Edmond,

I get plenty of error messages :-)

When I first tried to add the term base during the creation of the project, I think the message I got was the one you mentioned above above.

When I now try to add a term base to an existing project, I first get the following message when I try to navigate to the place in Project Settings where term bases are added: "Failed to setting page". When I click "OK", and try to click on "termbases" again, I then get "Invalid URI: the format of the URI could not be determined". Then, when I click "OK" and try to add the termbase, I get the error message "You have already added a term base with the " friendly name to the project and Studio cannot handle duplicates. Open the term base in SDL MultiTerm if you want to change its friendly name and then add it to the project." When I click "OK" to get rid of the message, I get "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: key".

    I hope this helps!
