Question

"failed to add command bar extensions for view 'EditorView' 
 
 Hi all, 
 today I'm trying to open my 2015 version of Trados and this error occurs, and Trados window even open and then crash down. 
 Have anybody ever had the same issue before and can tell me what I have t do?

Hi Paul, thank you for your reply though I solved the issue going in Windows Update > View update history, and checking the updates run today. So I restored the update (it was Microsoft .NET framework 4.6.1.) and I run another update that was waiting (Language Pack Microsoft .NET framework 4.6.1). So the problem was due to Microsoft updates... No needed to reset Trados. Happy!

Hi Rachele, 
 
If you are able to actually open the Editor can you try to use View -> Reset Window Layout? 
 
If not then perhaps you can try a Studio reset and it might help. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\12.0.0.0
