Error message "Specified method is not supported" when trying to open an idml file in Studio 2011

Question

When trying to open an idml file in SDL Trados Studio 2011 Freelance SP2R - 10.4.3123.2 the message "Specified method is not supported" shows up.
The InDesign version is 8.0(370) and should be compatible. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I don't know what this might be. Studio 2011 has been retired already, but if you can share your IDML I'd be happy to take a look at it for you?

I have been trying to send you an email but it is getting stuck and your server just tells me it's delayed. The content of the email was a copy of your IDML "fixed". We have no idea what's wrong with the file, but one of our guys opened the file in InDesign, saved it with a new name, and then it opens in Studio without a problem! 
 
No idea why... but I wanted to have you test the file yourself. Maybe your mailbox is full?
